# The Indie trial

> How the 14-day trial works

The **Indie** plan includes a 14-day free trial. Pro does not.

## What's included in the trial

* Full access to Indie plan features for 14 days.
* The same credit allotment as a paid Indie subscription.
* Full access to all test creation, personas, results, and agent functionality.

## Credit card required

Starting the trial requires a valid credit card. Your card is not charged during the trial — it's charged automatically on day 15 unless you cancel first.

## One trial per account

The Indie trial is **one-per-account**. It's consumed the first time you start it and is never reset, even if you:

* Cancel before day 15.
* Let the trial expire without upgrading.
* Deactivate your account and return later.

Once consumed, signing up again or returning to the plan will charge you from day one.

## What happens on day 15

If you haven't cancelled:

* Your card is charged for the monthly or annual Indie plan (whichever you selected during trial signup).
* Your access continues uninterrupted.

If you cancelled during the trial:

* Your access ends on day 14.
* Your card is not charged.
* Your account goes inactive (see [Deactivation](/billing/deactivation)).

## Cancelling during the trial

Cancel from the **Billing** page at any point before the trial ends. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the trial, not immediately — you keep access until day 14.

## Upgrading from trial

If Indie meets your needs, no action is required — day 15 rolls you into a paid plan. If you need Pro's higher limits, upgrade from the **Billing** page any time during the trial.
