Manage everything about your plan from the Billing page.

What’s on the Billing page

  • Your current plan and billing cycle (monthly or annual).
  • Your credit balance and next reset date.
  • Your persona count and the limit for your plan.
  • A link to the Billing portal — the Stripe-hosted page where you update your card, download invoices, and see payment history.
  • Actions to Upgrade, Downgrade, or Cancel.

Upgrading

From Indie to Pro: Upgrade on the Billing page. The change takes effect immediately. Your next invoice is prorated so you’re not double-charged. Upgrading gives you immediate access to Pro’s higher limits — more personas, longer retention, and a higher credit allotment.

Downgrading

From Pro to Indie: Downgrade on the Billing page. The change takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle — you keep your Pro features until then. Things to watch for when downgrading:
  • Personas. If you have more than 5 personas on Pro and downgrade to Indie, you’ll need to delete some before creating new ones.
  • Test history retention. When the downgrade kicks in, tests older than 90 days will start aging out.
  • Credits. Your next billing cycle uses the Indie allotment.

Switching monthly ↔ annual

Switch billing cycles from the Billing page. Switches take effect at the next renewal. Annual plans are billed upfront at a discount compared to paying monthly.

The billing portal

For anything related to payment itself — updating your card, changing your billing address, downloading invoices, checking payment history — use the Billing portal link. That opens Stripe’s secure billing page with your full history.

Cancelling

Cancel from the Billing page. Cancellation:
  • Takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You keep full access until then.
  • Does not delete your account or your data. You can reactivate anytime.
  • Does not immediately delete your test history — that follows the normal retention rules until you either reactivate or your account is fully deactivated.
See Deactivation for what happens to your account after cancellation.

Failed payments

If a payment fails, Stripe retries on a schedule. You’ll get email notifications. If all retries fail, your account is deactivated (same as a voluntary cancellation). Update your card in the billing portal and you can reactivate.
