Editing
Open any persona and edit any field — name, occupation, focus areas, pain points, traits, the full system prompt. Edits take effect immediately; future tests use the updated persona.
Past test results are not re-evaluated when you edit a persona. A result is a snapshot of the persona at the time of the run.
Duplicating
The duplicate action makes a copy of a persona. Useful when:
- You want to create a variant (e.g. the same persona on mobile instead of desktop).
- You’re about to experiment with changes and want to preserve the original.
- You want a starting point for a new persona that’s similar to one you already have.
Duplicates start with "Copy of " prepended to the name — rename them before saving.
Deleting
Deleting a persona removes it from your account. Past test results that used the persona are preserved — the persona’s name and key fields are embedded in the report.
Deletion is permanent. If you’re unsure, duplicate the persona and delete the copy, or deactivate its use by removing it from your rotation instead of deleting it.
Persona limits
- Indie — 5 personas
- Pro — 10 personas
If you’re at the limit and want to add a new persona, delete or replace an existing one.
